So, pinks room is going to be covered in plants as she steals plants from the park to revitalise them before returning them. She pots them and cares for them so there are going to be lost of potted plant designs to come.

Artist Research

so Ive been looking around the web for some artists that paint in a similar style as myself, but with a couple of little changes, so for one, they have to create beautiful pieces that id aspire to create, they need to use the same framing techniques, but different pallets and brush marks are so interesting to try, there were quite a few things i was looking for, and these two artists seemed to really hit the mark.

I am researching them for a reason, that being my portfolio work and my background work must all relate to these naturalistic artists, hence why i was looking for something similar, but not exactly the same. i learnt a lot from layout and composition just looking through both of their artworks trying to decide on my favourite pieces to include. 

Painting with leaves

so after a couple of days pressing leaves, flowers, moss, bark... foliage. i took a couple samples and painted with them. printing with the leaves and onto canvas (below right) with thick acrylic paint

nice and fun, messy, creating some different patterns and even fingerpainting backgrounds. 

My Monkeys Adventure pt 1

So I took my little monkey toy around campus with me last week, and drew it in a couple locations. Photos were taken and he slowly becomes more and more real. After all you can never trust Cornwall weather not to rain all over your drawings.
