The Lighter Dark - The day I almost cried

so today, I turned up at uni at 8:30 am to save all the renders for the projects first milestone screening, and this is what I turned up to. I almost cried, out Animatic was a travesty, and the frames were meant to save us. We were all stressing out. I held an emergency group call to '56' and they all said they would be in before 9 to help sort it out. Sadly the majority of the computers had completely crashed and we were forced to turn them all off at the mains. Thankfully everything was referenced in so any issues that may have occurred in such a shut down were averted. And thankfully, pushing the group so hard, we were ahead of the milestone requirements, and all the other groups, so we really did have nothing to worry about (though the group were a little miffed I had pushed them so hard)

Script Writing Sign-up Class

Script writing class included no script writing, but generating story ideas. Not helpful for my Distorted pitch, but hey, if i get bored of Distorted, I've now got plenty of replacement ideas :)

Idea 1: Domestication - a casual bedroom encounter, four friends smoking in one's room, telling stories of how they got to this half way house.

Idea 2: Dreamland - first person animation, main character goes to sleep every night and you see all their nightmares.

Idea 3: Bread - Homeless person wakes up outside their usual sleeping spot (infant of a supermarket in a mall) bags up their sleeping bag and puts their jumper on (also their pillow) the story is about how she only has £2.63 and is trying to buy food for the next week to live on. She gets pulled aside by security and they accuse her of stealing, so not only do they take what food she already had, but she looses her safe sleeping spot.
